The Mother of All Demos -- Doug Engelbart's pointing device

Yesterday (9th December) was the 45th Anniversary of Doug Engelbart’s 1968 presentation to the world of the first “mouse” whose development enabled the first WIMP (windows, icons, menus and pointer) interfaces pioneered by Apple with the first Macintosh in 1984.
