Slideshows in Keynote

Avatar Trevor Hewson
I have to create a quiz, most of which will be on aircraft recognition. For each aircraft I want to run a short slideshow consisting of a few photos and short video clips, then put up a still with a caption asking for the make and model of the aircraft just shown. Then ditto for the next aircraft.

I can see two options:
i) I could insert each photo and each video clip into separate slides in Keynote then get keynote to run the slideshow, ending with the question slide.

ii) I could assemble the photos and video clips for each aircraft in iMovie. Then there would be just two Keynote slides per aircraft. One showing the iMovie slideshow of photos and video clips, the next being the question slide.

Both of these seem a little long winded (especially as I am not at all fluent in Keynote). Since all the photos and video clips to be used are in iPhoto, I had hoped that I could just make them into a slideshow in iPhoto and then drag that onto a Keynote slide. However, whilst creating the iPhoto slideshow is easy, I haven't found a way of exporting it to Keynote (I'm running iPhoto '09)

Any views on the best way to set about this would be appreciated.

As you were - would you believe, after right clicking everything and searching through iPhoto's menus without success, I've just spotted a button at the bottom of the screen labelled 'export'! And iPhoto is the iLife app that I have used more than any others!
