Photo filing/cataloguing - a competition to define the ideal application

This is a follow-up to the presentation that I have given at Dorchester, Bournemouth & Fareham - Salisbury and Beaminster will get their turn in June, but to give everybody more time here is the run-down:

In this competition you are asked to set out your parameters for the ideal application for filing, arranging, cataloguing and finding your photographs.

Try by listing all of the things that your ideal application would do, e.g.:
how it would store your photos, i.e. all in one folder or in several
how it would find them
how you could see them
in which ways would it catalogue them
what the application could do with the photos once catalogued

If you can make a circuit diagram or flow chart to illustrate the above, so much the better!

The deadline is July 31st and judging will take place in early August.

The prize is a copy of MediaPro - a particularly good cataloguing application which currently sells for approximately £120.00.
