Hello Folks,

iPhoto is telling me I have 272 events and 2,000 pictures in the trash.

Now when I open iPhoto there are no events and no pictures in the trash?

How can I reset iPhoto please.

Or do I need to reinstall it?

Any help would be much appreciated.

You could try rebuilding the iPhoto database.

Quit iPhoto and relaunch it while holding the apple/cmd and option keys to get the database rebuild dialog.

I also would take a copy of the iPhoto database before doing this just in case.
