iMovie

I am have a problem with share in iMovie. When exporting using Quicktime iMovie sets it going and gives a time span, I let the Mac get on with it. When I go back after the allotted time it has finished but the Quicktime file is missing and no amount of searching can find it. Has any one come across this

Works OK here Doug. Is it possible there's some flaw in the movie or the exporting of it which makes it fail without creating the Quicktime file? Is it too long to sit and watch the process?

All I can suggest Doug is that you try again with a small test movie project and export it to a location where you can watch to see the file created, e.g. your desktop.

Which version of iMovie by the way? I'm interested because I have had a few 'share to iTunes' operations fail when I wasn't looking - I think it might have been due to the iMac falling asleep on the job!

The time to create the file was 4 hrs. I exported the movie using the first in the list "command E" and that worked alright.
