Avatars - A Plea

Avatar Mick Burrell
The point of us having these on the site was so that we should each put a head & shoulders shot up to enable other members to recognise us having seen us at meetings even if they can't remember who's who. It helps to put a face to a name. Especially when you reach my age!

Could I ask those of you who have used something other than an "easily recognisable as you" photograph, to consider changing it so that those of us who don't know you well will realise who is asking or answering the discussions.

Guilty as charged! I will try to get around to changing it. However Your avatar does make you look somewhat younger Mick, so maybe it's just a matter of how far you take it :)

Actually that was only taken two years ago so I suspect I've aged being chairman ;-) The real problem is I'm smiling and I don't do that a lot ;-)

Any better, Mick?

Thank you Trevor - much better ;-) Of course, I know who you are but I'm sure others, especially the hundreds of new members who only get to meet you briefly (!) will find it helpful.

The WAMUG server does not want to accept a picture of me... It must have a taste filter in place.
