A paradigm shift, getting our heads around iCloud

Maybe its to do with age or maybe we couldn't wait to get to the bar but at last night's Dorchester meeting Tom L and I sat fidgeting with our iPads trying to work out how to get to the material we knew we had put in the iCloud.
We gave up - concluding that the problem was that 'it is still at an early stage of development'. Having little else better to do today I have worried at the problem and think I see the light!
The documents made by iWork applications on our Macs aren't anywhere separate on our iPads and we don't 'go to the iCloud in Safari' to see them as we do on the Mac.
We just open the iWork App on the iPad and there they are!
There is still stuff I am not sure about like 'Is my iPad going to get clogged up with all the things I create with iWork on my Mac? But I have made a start & now too, I hope, has Tom.
