In his message to me he added:

Live 7. Apparently, sale of software licences has been ruled legal, but
god alone knows the chances of getting manufacturer support. Any offers
considered."
He also explained that he is 'settling back into the cosy embrace of Debian on generic
hardware' but that is way beyond me.
