Getting out of the safari park and those nasty Lions for a moment. I am still trying to burn a HD movie of viewable quality. Last week I bought a HDMI to Mac lead from Dr Bott Germany (£49). Thanks Mick. Sorry Tom I have to many mains circuits for your version. My movie shown on a friends 42" HD 1080 TV was spectacular to say the least. My plans were to buy a Blu-ray/HD recorder but Rupert Murdoch won't allow that you might record 1 of his films. I did think of
buying a Lacie Blu-ray burner but it uses Toast software. I have tried that and Adobe Premier elements 9. Any other ideas?
I bought a Mac because I was told it was the way to for photos and graphics. I have never used a PC but I have seen good results.

You've tried Toast and it's not good enough?

Yes Mick I have tried Toast 3, 4 & 8. I have used a spindle of Verbatim DVD's. Your last suggestion some months ago was to reduce the quality of my still photos
(pixels) but having seen them 1 to 1 from my computer to a 42" HD TV thats what I want nothing less.

Can't find anything else Graham, can't even find anyone complaining of the same issue. The only issues I found were where the DVD player used was not up to HD standards. Having said that, is Blue Ray not winning? Do you know anyone who has a Blue Ray burner and then player you could try?
