I may be a bit slow here but after reading all the comments about Lion it would seem to me that if you have two Macs both running SL then, unless you make a bootable copy of Lion by whatever means you have, you will have to pay for two downloads from the app site in order to use Lion on both Macs.
The process of creating a bootable copy of Lion is a little daunting for the likes of me. I have a 16Gb flash drive so at our next meeting it looks like I will be twisting someones arm and (Euan) to allow me to copy Lion!

John, your Lion download is licensed to your own Apple ID, so you do have to download it under that ID, although you can do the deed in any Apple store free, or via a friend with fast (and semi-unlimited) broadband. You can then install it on any Mac which was registered with your Apple ID.

Thanks Euan, I guess what I meant to say was that if I wanted a bootable copy.
