Resurrection of the WAMUG Newsletter

Avatar Eleanor Spenceley
I'm thinking of resurrecting the WAMUG Newsletter (to be issued on an irregular basis).

Does anyone think it is a good idea? If so, would you be prepared to contribute articles to it?

You could write about anything you wish (as long it is Apple related in some way...)

Article offers would be welcome, given enough interest I'll resurrect the newsletter. Hopefully we can assume most
members are on broadband these days to receive the newsletter!

Regards,

Martin

Looks like a slow response so far. Maybe December is not a good month for thinking about resurrections - but I think it is a good idea, and Annie and I would certainly have a go at writing something (whilst fervently hoping that some better qualified writers beat us to it!). Go for it Martin - there must be plenty of material out there!

I think it's worth a go but only if more members say they are willing to contribute. Divide that number by two and then judge if you have a viable proposition. A 'hints and tips' section would be fun and then how about a Q & A section with answers from learned members (bit difficult to organise)? I might even cook up something myself but I need a bit of inspiration. It might come. Another thought – a 'who's who' of members starting with our much revered Committee.

Interesting ideas Alan - plenty of inspiration there!
Who's Who with pictures?
I too will cook up something modest if its wanted/worth having.

Should be worthwhile sharing the experience of members. I would try to put something together from my narrow experience of imaging with Macs.

Yes, I'd like to see it back. I might even contribute eventually :)
