My first thought was to command click the photos to select them then go to print and select contact print. It doesn't make full use of the page for just 4 photos though.
Another idea, which I must admit I haven't tried: Make yourself a one page book, choosing one of the simpler themes and a four-to-a-page page style.
Personally though, I prefer just to drag the photos onto a blank page in Pages. This gives you full flexibility on scaling and laying out the photos.
P.S. Totally off topic but just in case it helps someone. I lost the blue dots marking unread postings on this forum. Eventually I realised that it was because I had been logged out (possibly because of the updating work going on at the moment?)
