iTunes 10 Video resolution

Has anyone else found that playing back video, especially podcast or HD podcasts, results in a much smaller window and significantly reduced video resolution? So much so that it is now noticeably pixelated, even in HD? This occurs across both my Mac Pro and my MacBook Pro, so it is not a hardware issue. (Applecare agree - they rather unhelpfully suggested going back to iTunes 9!). This issue is also there when playing back music videos and films, although to varying extents. I cannot find any menu item within iTunes prefs to adjust this.
Any ideas?
