Macbook Pro to TV

What connectors are required to watch a downloaded TV program from Macbook Pro mini display to a TV

That would depend on what input sockets are available on the TV - HDMI, VGA, Component Video. I'd assume you'd need an adapter from mini display port to one of those. If VGA you may also need an audio link.

If I remember right, you buy a Mini Display to DVI adapter then use a DVI to HDMI cable. However you will also need a separate audio cable as Mick says.

You should find the adapter here: http://store.apple.com/uk/search?find=DVI&mco=Nzc1MjMwNg

And I find these people very good for cables: http://www.cableuniverse.co.uk/catalog/cable/hdmi-to-dvi-dvi-to-hdmi-cables/
