I have a digital photo frame which will only play MP3 format as background music to the images. My iTunes library files are AAC format, some 'protected' some not. How can I change to MP3 format when transferring music to a Compact Flash card or SD card or Memory Stick to play on the photo frame?
Just in case the solution might be useful, here it is:
In "itunes" preferences", then "General", click "import Settings. Select "MP3 Encoder"
Then in "Setting" Select the quality. The higher the quality the bigger the file of course.
Then click "OK" and go back to iTunes.
Select the song you want to convert. Highlight in blue. Then click "Advanced", Then "Convert to MP3 Version".
There will then be 2 copies of that song in the library.
Drag the MP3 version over to the SD Card etc.
