I Iost all my photos in iPhoto..

Can anyone help, please?

I Iost all my photos in iPhoto, but after much searching I managed to retrieve some after finding them in .trash which I understand is an invisible file. Sadly, I inadvertently "lost" them again and now cannot find them at all!

Any help would be gratefully received.

Could you give us some more to go on? Does iPhoto open but show no photos at all? If you look in your home folder and in the Pictures folder it contains, do you have an iPhoto Library - or perhaps more than one?
