For some users the trackpad, and mouse, can be unresponsive for a second or so, leading to user (wildly) moving the mouse or finger to get it going again. This means having to re-position the cursor to where it originally was -- very irritating.
Fix: in System Preferences > trackpad: untick "ignore accidental trackpad input"
