Transferring slide show from iPhoto

I have a slide show (with background music) in iPhoto on my iMac G5 which I would like to transfer to something that will allow me to show/play it on a PC driven digital projector. I have put in on a memory stick & then onto my MacBook but from there it will only play as a Quicktime movie & doesn't fit the screen format.
Should I have exported it from iPhoto into iDVD then onto a DVD or CD?

Your suggestion would be fine Roy but Quicktime is available for Windows if that's a possibility.

Thanks Mick & to Lionel who said (in reply to my email) "You can transfer a slideshow to iDvd using the share option".
