Hi all

I am having a problem with boot up,my machine takes 65-70 secs.This has only happened recently since I had problems with hidden files,any ideas

Have the files you deleted been re-made or can you drag the old ones back from the trash?

Have not deleted any hidden files the programme I used just hidd them again

Have you done a check on the integrity of the file and directory structure of the disk by using Disk Utility and or Techtools. Adding extra drives and other devices will slow the boot time as the machines check all the devices.
