On both our 2020 MacBook Pro and MacBook Air on Sequola 15.4 the “Swoosh” sound when I send an Emails has stopped working. I have checked the settings on both machines and all seem as they should be. Any suggestions please on how to fix this please.
I *think* they probably broke it when they introduced the 'do you want to change your mind?' delay between you pressing 'send' and the message actually being sent (you can track this happening at the bottom of the lefthand bar that shows all your accounts.
I *think* (sorry for being vague, not been at my best) I have had swooshes since they did that but not reliably. They're probably still fiddling!
You can try turning them off and then on again (or at least double-check that they're on) in Mail > Settings > General > Play sounds for other mail actions (hovering over it confirms that Mail is still supposed to generate a sound when sending).
