Can anyone recommend a music app?

I have been experimenting with augmenting storage on my iPad by adding an SD card reader, connected into the lightning connector. An SD card is inserted, loaded with music files.
This works, however, the Apple Music app will not read the files, only ones that have been imported. The files app allows me to access the music but will only play one track at a time.
Can anyone recommend a music app which will play these external files? It does not need to stream music from the web.
