Is there an easy way of having different folders wth different views? I.e. One folder sorted in Name order, another folder sorted by Date added and so on
Is this what you're after?
Once you have a folder in the format you want, you can set it to 'always open in xxx format' from the View > Show View Options menu (or Cmd-J). That remembers the view for that folder when you open it in a new Finder window.
I have vague memories of it being unreliable but it seems OK here today in Ventura.
