Apple has announced that Photo Stream will stop working as of June 26th with all photos removed from their server by July 26th. If you have photos on there that are valuable, you might like to make sure you have copies somewhere safe (ie safe from inadvertent deletion).
A pity indeed. However, I’m not surprised. It has become progressively more cranky over the last few years. I suppose I now need to look at options for archiving the earlier years of my Photos library so that the remainder can be synched by iCloud Photos (if that’s what it’s called) without having to pay for oodles of additional iCloud storage?
