Flat screen iMac or laptop.

This will be an interim computer (to replace a very old machine running OS9) prior to purchasing new after a house move so price is more important than the latest spec!

Hi Derek, sadly no. The lady is looking for something as inexpensive as possible (£200-£300) just to use as a stop gap as she intends to buy a new iMac as soon as she's moved house.

I have a lovingly looked after G4/768MB/80GB 17inch 'screen on a stick' anglepoise iMac that has been packed away and ignored since I replaced it with a Mac Pro. I would love it to go to a good home. Your price range sounds about right - would you want software too?

Hi Tony, it sounds ideal. What OS is it running? Having only used OS 9 Jayne just wants to get into OS 10 so although Leopard would be nice I'm sure Tiger would be fine.

Jayne will be moving to Salisbury as soon as she can sell her house in Stafford but she comes to our meeting from time to time when she can be in the area. She phoned me today with this request and hopes to be with us this Wednesday. If you could possibly let me know what OS and and any additional software together with your price (email me off here if you wish - address on the "About" page) I'll pass it on to her and if you have a deal I'll happily act as go between.
