SD card prob

I tried to delete some files from the SD card in my digital camera, and got the message, "it can't be moved to the trash because it can't be deleted".
I had a look at it with File - get info, and it says the format is MS-DOS (Fat 16)
There is a lock button on the side but it makes no difference if I switch it off.

Formatting the card in camera or Mac should delete it but it will delete all other content too.

Finder - click on SD card - Edit - Select all - Move to trash.
I must be suffering from the Cornwall Variant.....

Grrr, insert card in camera, Memory card full, Grrr....

Insert card in Mac - open Disk utility - select No Name - click on erase - choose a format (unimportant) click on erase - perfect.
