Using Notes on my iPad I can start off typing then if I want to add a sketch click on the mark-up (pencil tip in a circle) icon and sketch. Then I want to continue typing. I have found if I click on the List Icon (Tick in a circle) it drops out of sketch mode and if I then click again I am back in normal typing mode. So I have a way of doing what I want but is there another way? Clicking again on the mark-up icon doesn’t toggle the feature (unless it is a press for a certain length of time and I’m not getting the timing right).
I might have solved it! If I use just the iPad then there is no problem but if I have the Magic Keyboard attached then the interface changes! Issue resolved.
