mail won't open on ipad

hi,
mail refuses to open on my ipad, crashes before opening! Any thoughts why this is happening? Thanks, Robin

What have you tried?

If you haven't already, try holding down the power button till you see "Slide To Power Off". Swipe right and wait till the phone shuts down completely. Then start it again.

Have you tried anything else? Does the same email account work on other devices?

hi Mick,

same email accounts work on both iphone & laptop, may have to delete all accounts on ipad & then add back in!

If they're IMAP you shouldn't lose anything.
