Thanks David for the heads up. I always use Capto instead of Quicktime because it can capture either your whole screen or a selected part of it using the internal computer sound rather than recording the computer's speaker sounds which are generally high pitched and subject to any police sirens, coughs, sneezes, baby cries, untimely calls to the door that may intrude.
Unhesitating recommendation. Absolute delight. Check it out, help here if needed.
Thanks Euan. I have downloaded Capto and briefly viewed their tutorials. However, as a complete beginner, I need a simple introductory tutorial by a presenter speaking slowly. Wondering if you or anyone can give a link for this?
Roy: would a 'phone tutorial at an agreed time be useful? We would both have Capto on our screens to explore in parallel. Mick or David can pass on my landline number, I don't have yours, and we should not publish them on this forum.
The use of the various Capto products would be a useful Zoom topic.
Re the use of Capto There is another Capto product - AV Recorder & Screen Capture, however it does not download the full product - only the Light product at the moment.
