Problems uploading new topic for discussion

I tried uploading my post earlier but it bombed out when I went to ‘Post’ It came up with Fatal Error
I thought the session had timed out so typed it again - this time saving a copy!

Once again it failed and a couple of times more.
I had a couple of emoticons in the topic, so deleted them and the post then went easily.

So can I infer from that we can’t add emoticons?

I’ve just seen Mick’s reply to the Post on Zoom on 13 July,
‘We can't use emojis on here. On any thread ;-)‘

I see that I used emoticon when it should have been emoji, (what do I know? - not a lot!)

So that answers my question

I see Jeanette has been reading the Unicode Standards again and is of course quite correct in using the term Emoticons since these are a subset of Emoji.

I knew all those hours spend researching Emoji for a personal project would come in useful sometime...
