Emails ’Sent’ address problem

When I send emails from my toucansurf address on my MacBook Pro. The ‘Sent’ box on the MBP only has old 2019 messages. (They were not sent from the MBP). Wondering how this can be corrected? Am using mail version 14.4 and Mac OS Catalina 10.15.5

Try to track them down on the TalkTalk webmail site.

There are 38 'Sent' emails showing on the TT webmail site but all from 2019 and sent from my iMac. These are the emails showing on the MBP. This seems to point to an incorrect setting on the MBP unless I misused Mail Steward. My iCloud email address works well.

I'm sure we've had issues with your toucan surf address before with one machine treating it as IMAP, the other POP.

Do you have more than one Sent box on the MBP (Sent, Sent Items etc.)?

Yes it was and is Toucansurf with the problems. On the MBP there are three Sent boxes under Toucansurf. Two have no entries and the other just has the emails sent in 2019.
The Toucansurf account is pop3 on the MBP and iMac.
