Unable to upgrade from MacOS Sierra to High Sierra

Avatar Jeanette Jones
I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015) and Sierra 10.12.6 installed.

I decided to upgrade to High Sierra so went through 'Software Update' and got into the App Store where it said 'No App Updates Available'

It also says I have 4 Incompatible Updates in Keynote, Pages, Numbers and iMovie and looking at these they seem to require MacOS Mojave.

1) Has High Sierra been superseded by Mojave?
2) If so am I able to upgrade to Mojave and
3) Would that be a good thing to do?
4) If so, how do I access it as it doesn't seem to allow me to from the App Store or from About My Mac.

Now that Mojave has been released, High Sierra will no longer be available from the App Store but if you contact Apple, I'm sure they could point you to a link to download it if you have a need to go that way. However, your laptop should run Mojave so I assume you could just go straight to that.

It's the main "advert" on the App Store, just click on it and it takes you to the Mojave page with a download button top left.

Thanks Mick, I think I have been getting confused by trying to ‘Update’ the OS when I should have been trying to ‘UpGRADE’
If I put Mojave in the search bar of the App Store, then I can access it.
