Due to a flood on the weekend the shop has closed. I spoke to their head office after I arrived with my Macbook for an appointment with the technician (for him to assess my delaminating display). He thought it was going to be a long time before the shop would be operational, probably September.
Yes the flood was not widespread, only the local branch! It was caused by a burst pipe in the flat above. Alternative arrangements means visiting their Christchurch branch or the Apple shop in Southampton. I'll wait till September to show the technician my delaminating screen assuming the manager will phone me as promised. He has a lot on his hands at present, probably a mop!
