Hello from New Member

Avatar John Yardley
Hi,
I have just joined having moved to Dorchester in the last month.
Having been frustrated of teaching ICT concentrating solely on Ms/ PC in the further education system I decided to buy a Mac when I emigrated to Australia. I have since returned to U.K - bit of a sore subject at the moment, but wanted to expand my knowledge of Mac's. Only had good experiences with my imac, tiger 10.4.11 o/s and am ready to recommend one to anyone who uses a PC who wants advice about virus checking, firewalls, malware, worms or my computer has 'crashed' - Gates designed PC's to morphing into cars
Yesterday found a utility called isync that I use to sync my usb 'dongle and hdd.
Best wishes

John

Nice to have you with us John.

I think you'll find plenty of similar minded people at the Dorchester meetings and the beers not bad either (so I'm told ;o) ).

John, surely you don't mean you actually regret getting away from that insect and fly ridden oven they call Oz do you?

I spent 10 days each in Melbourne and Sydney and couldn't wait to get home. People were very nice though. If only they would stop talking about sport.
