My Xerox Phaser 3250 has started printing documents with the top few lines (up to 5) either compressed or presumably squeezed into the single black line that starts the page. Subsequent pages are printed as they should be. Has anybody else experienced this problem, and have they found a fix for it?
Could it be a mechanical issue, paper handling being disrupted? You probably have some instructions for running a cleaning sheet through the printer or can visually inspect and clean the rollers.
Also, check that the paper is pristine and loaded properly into a properly adjusted tray.
If it was a handling problem I would expect the reverse page (when printing two sides) to have the same problem.I shall seek out the cleaning instructions and hope that that will cure the problem.
