After weeks spent building a slideshow with video and titles and a soundtrack I exported it an hour ago, watched the very slow progress bar, and watched you tube for a bit. It should be on the desktop but has completely disapeared. Any ideas?
By "it should be on the desktop", do you mean you selected the desktop as the destination or that's just where you expected it to be?
You could go back to Aperture and start the process again just to see where it's set to save (you don't need to export again) or use Spotlight to search for the file.
For now we see as through a glass darkly...... when I recreated it from the one I made earlier, adding the latest 11 title and video clips, I found 11 so called 'Untitled Projects' which I did not tell it to create, and each one containing one video or title clip. The same thing had happened last night and I deleted them, obviously throwing a spanner in the works. I'll make damn sure I don't delete anything else!!!
