A friend recently visited us with his laptop (PC). After switching it on it immediately went online using my Netgear router. Is there a way of blocking such usage? I don't mind trusted friends doing this but it seems that anyone within a certain distance could do the same. In my Security panel I have Automatic Login disabled & a password is required to access accounts on startup. The Firewall setting is 'Allow all incoming connections'. Perhaps this should be changed to: 'Allow only essential services'? What would be 'essential services'?
