After trying to open an image in Adobe Bridge CS5.1 by double clicking it, which normally opens the image in Photoshop CS5.1, this message popped up: "Could not complete your request because an unexpected end-of-file was encountered." I then tried opening the same image from Photoshop but got the same message. Other images in the same folder opened as usual. Any clues about the message anyone?
"Unexpected end of file" usually means a corrupt file. Sometimes these can be opened elsewhere, but a tell-tale sign is a blank stripe across the image somewhere. Time to check that backup.
