Since changing our user account log in passwords on both computers, we have not been able to access the other computer on our network (-basically we just have an iMac and a MacBook), except as a Guest user. I have tried all the passwords I can think of to no avail and they don't give you hints! Is there somewhere that the appropriate password is recorded that I can access?
The password you need is the one you use to logon when sat at the screen. You use the same password when accessing remotely. So if the iMac is PASS1 and the MacBook PASS2, if sat at the MacBook you would use PASS1 to access the iMac remotely. Alternately you could set up anther account and use those details...
Thanks Terry, I have the same logon password on both computers and whilst these are fine for that computer it doesn't work when I try to connect to the other server. I will keep playing around with it!
