Does anybody know the reason why my macbook air will only allow me to get emails or send them through Safari? It just all of a sudden stopped working! I can get Them through my iPhone.

Not without more details:

When you click the "get mail" icon, what happens? What message (if any) do you get? Is there a warning triangle or lightening bolt symbol against the inbox?

As above but for sending mail.

Hi Mick sorry for the delay but i had to take my dogs out. Nothing happens when i click get mail, It used to work just fine but for some strange reason it just stopped, Euan tried to help me with it before my Holiday but we still couldn't get it to work.

Try going to the web site of your email provider (e.g. bt.com) and find your way to their webmail page. See if you can log in and see your email there. If you can, it will prove you have the correct user name (often your full email address) and password.

I think me and Euan tried to delete it off my macbook and then reinstalled it but it didn't work
