YOSEMITE WI FI

Avatar Graham Whent
Since installing Yosemite on my mid 09 MacBook Pro I have had horrific WI FI (can not
connect, cuts out every 2 mins etc), I did not have this problem before and not everyone will.
FIX from a friend in high places. Click on your apple symbol > choose location - mine said
automatic. Click net work pref > select WI FI > In advanced > TCP/IP Note down your IPv4 details for later use. Back to network location drop down box > edit location > + type any name done. Back to network your new name is there. Click advanced then TCP/IP from drop down select DCHP with manual address. type in your noted IP address > apply. FINISHED>

Seems to be working well. I have just ticked automatic under the apple symbol. Result I cannot get on line.
I see Apple have asked developers to focus WI FI for there update 10.10.1
