Eight members were at Wallington to hear Mick talk on how best to prepare an old Apple device for sale or disposal (transferring your files, erasing the storage, etc) and where you might sell or recycle it. Unsurprisingly, Apple's trade-in programme was not recommended! (I got quoted £675 for this MacBook Pro- 14inch, M1 Pro, 10 core CPU/16 core GPU, 16GB/1TB- refurb ones from major retailers are £1200 ish). The usual discussions followed, including how to change the colour of cursors and highlight text in macOS & on scam phone calls.
