Just as he has at other meetings, Mick updated us on the introduction of Passkeys which may ultimately replace passwords and be more secure. He described what they are, what you need to set up on one of your devices to be able to use Passkeys (enable Keychain and Two Factor Authentication - both are likely to be already set up). After that you set up a Passkey on each of the sites you use - assuming it's ready for passkeys, many aren't. You can enable Passkeys without fear that you lose your access to the website if you then try to access it using an old machine. Currently, Passkeys and Passwords co-exist
