David M, happily plaigurising Barry Guyer's recent Salisbury talk, ran through the use of dictation across Apple devices, communicating with Siri via speech and having text read out loud. Dictation on the Mac can be activated two ways, one a lot more sophisticated that the other and it would be difficult to explain better than via a MacMost video.

Georgia, with newer members is mind, showed us a short Apple video on features of the latest IOS, but it was a greater refresher for all of us.

John Cadd showed us delightful photos and videos, from his recent Mexico trip, of gentle giants, Grey Whales, nestling alongside tourist boat, wonderful.

Mick tested our ability to identify scam emails, “Will You Fall for a Scam”, and also the logic behind reaching a decision, courtesy of Take Five Stop Fraud

To end the evening, Mick gave us another test of knowledge about Apple, Macs, IOS and History, great fun.
