David P aimed to find some snippet of information which was not widely known and result in members taking away nugget to make using their devices easier or even more capable. We covered a spectrum from changing the speed of YouTube videos to using Spotlight for quick calculations. The latter half of the meeting was set aside for 1:1 help. With an excellent attendance this resulted in a lot of noise and a lot of help!

The Beaminster attendances had dropped to an unsustainable level but if this evening's attendance can be maintained the group can continue. To try to maximise attendance Mick conducted a straw poll to assess support for meeting at other times and other dates in the month. Mick undertook to explore the options and entreated members to seek out other Apple device users - not just Macs but iPad and iPhone users and 'persuade' them along to our meetings.
