This month's get-together focused on a review of the WWDC held earlier this June. A short edited version of the video proceedings was screened, followed by a more detailed recap of some of the forthcoming introductions and details of some software modifications discovered by beta testers of the new software for computer, tablet and phone. The new 15" MacBook Air looks like a winner.

This was followed by a lively discussion with some members wondering what, if any, of the coming new hardware and software would be of any benefit to them, while an alternative view was vigorously promoted that Apple were determining what hardware and software would prove most attractive and beneficial to future generations.

A most thought-provoking meeting!
