Ten members located themselves at Warsash for a couple of navigation-themed presentations. First, David showed us how to find ourselves with Apple Maps, with both Mac and iOS devices. Some of us were clearly more in need of navigational assistance- or assistance in how to navigate- than others, but we all found our destinations eventually! Secondly, Mick talked about what3words (see what3words.com), a super-easy (well, once you've got the hang of it) means of identifying your location, even without an address of any kind- three (as if random, only clearly not) words give your location (or that of the place you wish to get to) precisely down to a three metre square. Following that, Euan showed us an excerpt of the WWDC keynote, with Craig Federighi talking about the new with macOS Ventura (and also on iPads with an M1 chip) feature Stage Manager, as Macworld put it "the new Mac multitasking interface we didn’t know we needed". It looks like a very useful tool for managing multiple windows. Back in July, if we can find the hall :)
