Dorchester — Nov 10th 2009

Apologies were received from a number of members kept at home by fog or ill-health.

Report back from the WaMugs Committee (Mark Ford)

Our new Chair, Mick Burrell, presided.

It was decided that the club will buy the sort of medium cost gizmos that might get used only once. The sort of items envisaged are a VHS to DVD thingy and a vinyl to digital turntable. These could be loaned to members. Details to follow. (see Discussion thread ‘Club Purchase’)

It was decided to increase non-member meeting fee to £5.00.
Also that the first £5 to be deducted from Annual membership when a person does join regardless of the number of times they have attended as a visitor.

It was decided to send all visitors the Bulletin even if they haven’t joined. It is easy to un-subscribe from the service should they wish.
