Our first meeting since March 2020, really a social get together, hosted by Georgia Cheer in her lovely garden in Poundbury was a most enjoyable occasion and great to meet up physically rather than from behind our Mac screens. Fourteen of us attended and many had the added pleasure/education of Georgia's husband John showing them/us his stunning 1924 Rolls Royce beautifully renovated to original specification. The meeting started at 7.00 pm with members arriving with folding chairs and, in some instances, wine to enhance the food and drinks on offer. We sat in a circle filling the sunken garden and whilst everyone chatted away happily our chairman seemed disappointed that the circle was not indicative a cabaret. With many thanks to Georgia and John, we broke up at 8.45.
