Beaminster — Dec 3rd 2019
Members were invited to follow along using Macs or iPads with David Moon’s workshop session. To make this possible two screens were used - one mirroring the Mac and the other the iPad. David used Keynote as his vehicle to demonstrate a host of features which are common to many Apple programmes: importing photos, using shapes to mask the photos and how to edit those shapes, animation (Santa was flying across the screen in his sleigh) and instant alpha. David also covered techniques specific to Keynote: presenter notes, slide-show rehearsal and making the iPad and Mac work in tandem enabling the presenter to non-destructively write on the iPad so it is seen on the image shown on the Mac or projector.
It being the last session of the year, members enjoyed a mince pie and a coffee.
