“Last night saw a good attendance, of 19 people, to hear Mick give one of his typically concise and clear presentations. He gave it on the general area of email splitting it into with 10 separate areas. On this occasion, in response to requests by the audience, he dealt with the first 4 of these ranging from setting up email accounts, through etiquette, to spam. All of the areas were based on using the Apple Mail app, but of course would apply with slight variations to other mail apps. He was asked to continue through the remaining headings at a future meeting – pretty well every one discovered something useful that they didn’t know about the areas covered!
The meeting was run by David Parnell who has taken over from Michael Corgan. Michael has stood down after running the meeting for over four years and was thanked by everyone for his efforts. We wish David well and look forward to his stewardship.”
